I’m gonna joking this thread since I’ve been noticing the same thing. I’m not gonna rehash the issue since it’s been well articulated on the previous posts.
Antenna does have filter option but is not that intuitive to use. I’ve been using Cosmos more lately since it gives an option to see original content vs automated content.
It seems to me that that is a good compromise between letting people shape the smol web as they see fit and at the same time allowing people to pick what they want to consume is how Cosmos distinguishes between automated content and original content.
Idk how that is done in cosmos, and maybe it could be adopted as polite to put something like
“Automated: Some news here or something”
in order to clearly distinguish what is what.
But at the end of the day, we all are making the smol web so maybe a backlink search that distinguishes between aggregated content vs human reply might be a interesting tool to build or a feature to contribute to existing backlink search engines.
At any rate, it is indeed an issue how it’s becoming harder to find fresh content written by real people in the smol web, which is arguably what most of us come to the smol web for!
